Teacher and Spirit of NI winner Séana in a class of her own

Séana Maguire, Head of Spanish at Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School, is driven by her passion to positively impact the lives of others. In recognition of her dedication, she was honoured with the ‘Spirit of Education’ Award at the Sunday Life Spirit of Northern Ireland awards last year.

The Sunday Life are looking for inspirational people who have demonstrated a spirit of compassion, neighbourliness, charity, courage or devotion or those who have made an impact. If you’re aware of someone who has made a positive impact in the field of kidney disease or organ donation, please send an email to spiritofniawards@sundaylife.co.uk

Séana has continued to incorporate organ donation into the Key Stage Five enrichment module, emphasising the significance of the Gift of Life. We are proud of her achievements and look forward to further collaboration with the school.

We’re thrilled that two relay teams from the school will be participating in this year’s Belfast City Marathon, with proceeds going towards kidney research into kidney disease.

Thank you Séana for your dedication.
