Celebrating 45 Years of Marriage with a Gift of Hope

We are deeply grateful to kidney patient Mr Freddie Boyd and his wife Debbie, who recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary at Randalstown Bowling Club. In a truly generous gesture, they asked their guests to make a donation to the NI Kidney Research Fund instead of giving presents.

Thanks to their kindness, and the incredible support of family and friends, a fantastic total of £1,942 was raised to support kidney research here in Northern Ireland.

Every penny of this donation stays in Northern Ireland to fund vital research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of kidney disease.

As we always say:
“Without Research there is no Progress, and without Progress there is no Hope.”
NIKRF gives hope to kidney patients across the region.

We would also like to thank the staff at Antrim Area Hospital for their warm welcome when the cheque was presented.

Thank you once again to Freddie, Debbie, and everyone who contributed to this incredible donation.
