Ulster Hospital Renal Unit Running to Raise Funds for NIKRF
We are delighted to share that the Renal Unit at Ulster Hospital is going above and beyond to support the work of the Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund (NIKRF).
This year, two relay teams from the Renal Unit, along with Claire, their Renal Unit Sister who is bravely running the full marathon, are taking part in the Belfast Marathon to raise much-needed funds for kidney research.

Claire explains the team’s motivation:
“The staff at the Renal Unit see first-hand the impact that kidney disease has on individuals and their families. We are proud to fundraise for NIKRF, an organisation that brings hope to so many affected by kidney conditions.”
We are incredibly grateful for the commitment and energy shown by the Ulster Hospital team. Their support helps us continue vital research projects, improve treatments, and ultimately work towards a brighter future for people living with kidney disease.
